There are a lot of things I can’t do. I can’t skate. My coordination is not what it used to be! As a teen I was a whiz! I could cross over my leg to turn and everything. All skate! It was fun. I can’t bowl anymore because of an injured elbow. This may change as time goes on. I can’t dance. It is a pet peeve if friends pressure me to get out on the dance floor.

I cannot handle emergencies very well. Our Bichon we had for more than ten years passed away. I was a basket case! My daughter, Amanda, is much better than I am. She said, “Mom! Go get me a blanket to cover him. Or just go sit down.” She had it under control although she was crying over MacKenzie too.

I can’t hear sadness on the news! I literally will plug my ears or walk out of the room. Lately I can’t even watch CSI, Criminal Minds, and shows like that because I don’t want to have visuals of rape and chopped up bodies before I go to sleep. And I never watch movies about demons and satanic stuff.

It doesn’t bother me so much that I can’t do these things. It’s just me. It is my nature. Would it sound strange to you that because of His very nature there are some things God can’t do? There are!

God Can’t Be Shut Out of Anywhere.

Psalm 139: 7 - 10 I can never escape from your spirit. I can never get away from your spirit. If I go up to heaven, you are there. If I go down to the place of the dead, you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me and your strength will support me. I don’t care if people call the holiday, “Xmas,” or Santa is everywhere or our thoughts dwell of gifts. Christmas belongs to our Lord. He cannot be shut out of His own birthday!

God Can’t Be Put on a Time Schedule.

Acts 1:7 And He said to them, it is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in His own power. Just because you haven’t heard from Him yet does not mean that He is unaware of your pain. Don’t stop talking to Him. And you must stay in his word, for it is there you will find the answers to the questions within the depths of your heart.

God Can’t Make a Loser.

II Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ. It doesn’t matter what you think of yourself. Your negative thinking and lack of faith is keeping you from God’s best for your life. It doesn’t matter what you say to yourself. God says, "I have loved you with an everlasting love." You can’t earn it. But you can, with faith, step into the awesome plans he has for your life.

God Can’t Remember Sins He Has Forgotten.

Isaiah 43:25 I, even I, am He that blotted out your sins for mine own sake, and will not remember your sins. When you blot something out you cover it up so it can’t be seen. Jesus’s blood covers everything you have ever done. Forgive yourself and get over it.

And God Can’t Break a Promise.

Psalm 89:34 No I will not break my covenant. I will not take back a single word I said. When we stand on the promises of God’s word, we have His supernatural peace knowing that He holds us in His hands. Whether you are up or down this Christmas, you can be filled with joy because of the things God can’t do. So maybe you can’t dance either. We’ll sit together and laugh at the people who think they can!
